A client shares how behavioral archetypes dramatically improved engagement
So we've been using Symend for a little over a year now I think we are onto the journey. We started off aligning to our high medium low. So I guess like a lot of you guys we segment by risk. So high medium low and our contact strategies were pretty much the same content based upon of more intensity that changed based on that segmentation.
And when we first started off with Symend they kind of aligned to that, how obviously change up the content based on some of the behavioral tactics we saw. We're now so far into the journey that we've been able to introduce the archetypes.
And we've already begun to see pretty impressive results. I mean, we've significantly reigned in the volume of messages we were sending. I think one of the topics that came off earlier was habituation. We sent out so many things across so many channels that you wouldn't see much difference in terms of that level of engagement.
We've reigned that back in like pretty spectacularly. I think some of the examples Mark showed earlier on the screen were kind of indicative of how infrequently we are now able to send contacts. You don't need to send something every single day and interlace that with dialing four times a week or maybe even more depending on the risk segmentation.
So yeah, introducing the archetypes is working. It's early days. We're learning. I think perpetuation was one of the big factors for me because I think we're already seeing in certain messages that it's having a diminishing effect as time goes on.
So the Symend guys are already kind of replacing those messages with updated content, updated calls to action, updated subject lines. Which for us we've never been able to do before to be able to do that at speed, at pace, on mass.
